Is Your House Sitting Pretty?

I thought this article was very interesting because even after citing some pretty impressive statistics that home staging has helped homeowners sell quickly, the realtor in the article still remains skeptical. He said he has seen some pretty homes sit on the market while eyesores sold quickly.

I’m curious if the pretty homes were staged? Even if a home is modern, that doesn’t mean it connects emotionally with buyers. New appliances and interiors may especially need that staging touch so it doesn’t appear too sterile or formal. I also loved the comment about rating a home on its romance factor!
